Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q.How is the OWPick tier determined?
Tiers are calculated using a OWPick Score based on a unique algorithm that considers pick rates, win rates, and ban rates together. This reflects a hero's influence in the actual meta more objectively than raw win rates alone.
Q.How often is the data updated?
All data is automatically updated every day at 4:00 AM (KST) from the official Overwatch statistics page. Collected data is reflected on the website within a maximum of 1 hour depending on the system cache policy.
Q.Why are statistics different for each tier?
Overwatch gameplay styles vary significantly across skill levels. OWPick analyzes data separately for each tier from Bronze to Grandmaster to provide the most relevant information for your rank.
Q.Are the matchup and perk voting results real-time?
Your voting results are recorded in the database immediately and reflected in real-time. Your own voting history can be seen instantly, while overall statistical figures may take up to 1 hour to be reflected to others due to the system cache policy.
